k School: School Year S.M.A.R.T. Objectives for Small GroupsYou may have objectives for targeted small groups that support the program goals. These prompts will help you write them. For your small group goals, you will need student-level data to identify target populations.Select the areas that the School Data Profile indicate need to be improved. By the end of the school year, 80% of the students who had 10 or more absences in the previous school year will have fewer than 10 absences. Select a goal related to behavior, or write your own. By the end of the school year, 60% the students who were long-term suspended last year will be re-enrolled and not be suspended this year. By the end of the second semester, 75% of the students who had office referrals in the first semester will have fewer office referrals second semester. By the end of the school year, 50% of the students who had scored below grade-level proficiency in the previous year will have increased their proficiency level. By the end of the school year, 80% of the students who had failed a core English course will have re-taken it, and passed. By the end of the school year, 80% of the students who failed a core English class will have completed Credit Recovery and gained the credit. By the end of the school year, 60% of the students who previously scored below grade-level proficiency on mathematics standardized test will have improved at least one proficiency level. By the end of the school year, 60% of the students who failed a core math class will have re-taken the class and passed. By the end of the school year, 80% of the students who failed a core math class will have completed the Credit Recovery to pass it. Select a goal related to graduation rate, or write your own. By the end of the school year, 50% of the students who have failed core courses will have completed Credit Recovery or retaken the courses and passed. By the end of the school year, 80% of the students who were not on track to graduate on time will have made up at least one credit. Select a goal related to dropout rate, or write your own. By the end of the school year, 60% of the students who have at least one academic or behavior dropout risk factor will have overcome that risk factor. By the end of the first semester, 90% of the students who had been reported for bullying will no longer be bullying students, as measured by teacher surveys an office referrals. By the end of the year, 90% of the students who reported being bullied at school will report that they feel safe and have coping skills. Select a goal related to Time Management, or write your own. By the end of the school year, 60% of the students who are failing courses due to disorganization and time-management will be passing their courses. Select a goal related to College Readiness, or write your own. By the end of the year, the 50% students who took the ACT and scored within two points of the benchmarks for college-readiness will re-take the ACT and score at or above the college-ready level.
